Joomla 1.5.15 in fase di testing

TestingIl Team di Joomla ha deciso di rilasciare oggi una versione di testing per il prossimo aggiornamento alla 1.5.15
Questo pacchetto è solo ed esclusivamente per effettuare dei test a supporto del team in attesa della versione ufficiale stabile. Non deve essere utilizzato per siti di produzione, non sarà rilasciata una locazione italiana per questo pacchetto.  Gli aggiornamenti di questa versione riguardano in particolare la nuova compatibilità con PHP 5.3,  l'integrazione della nuova versione 3.2.6 dell'editor TinyMCE e la correzione di alcuni problemi riscontrati con questo editor.

The following is a list of the reported issues with Tiny 3.2.4 that have been corrected in the 1.5.15_test release of Joomla!.
1. Check that editor loads correctly on every platform, whether there is one or multiple instances of the editor on the page.
2. Check whether that images inserted by Joomla Image button or Tiny Image button are aligned correctly. Check that the Caption works OK.
3. Check that, when in HTML mode while using Toggle Editor, adding content and saving does save the new content.
4. When editing an html module or using the editor in a 3rd party component, check that the Toggle Editor button is now translatable
5. Check that visual chars and non-breaking spaces do work. (Non-breaking spaces will only be saved in HTML entity mode as the suggested (and default mode) "raw" is necessary for Search to work OK when using non-English language.
6. Firefox spell check should work in any mode (Simple, Advanced, Extended)
7. Tiny icons should be balanced (specially in Extended mode) to let the editor display OK on most templates.
8. Check that, in Windows, you can create a table, type some text, and apply the list style to create a list inside a table cell.
9. Check that you can change the parameter setting Tiny to use paragrah break <p> instead of <br />.
10. Tiny should now work with Compressed Version=On with any Functionality setting (Simple, Advanced, Extended).
11. Check that the Styles drop-down listing of css classes works correctly. This is now implemented to include legacy tinymce 2 behaviour as well as url linking to a css file. Here are some test instructions:
  • In Plugin manager, set Template CSS classes=Yes, Custom CSS classes=blank. Tiny will now pull classes from editor.css file in either default front-end templates folder (if it exists there) or templates/system folder. Try it with an editor.css file in each folder. (You can just copy and rename an existing .css folder. It should pick up all classes in the css file that do not use an id selector -- for example, "div.my_class").
  • With these same settings, remove the editor.css file from both the default and templates folder. You should now get an alert message warning that no editor.css file was found. Tiny should load, but there will be no styles in the drop-down list.
  • In the Custom CSS Classes, try the following cases: a) valid css file from the templates folder (like "black.css" for rhuk); b) invalid css file name (like "xxx.css"); c) valid full URL (like http://localhost/mysite/templates/rhuk_milkyway/black.css); d) invalid full URL (like http://localhost/bad_url.css). (a) should work; (b) should give alert message and no styles; (c) should work; (d) will not give alert but will give no styles. In all cases, Tiny editor should load correctly.
  • Check the tooltips for the parameters Code cleanup on exit and Entity encoding. These have been changed to recommend the default settings.
12. In Internet Explorer, when using the Joomla Image and Pagebreak buttons, any text entered in the modal window should be inserted at the original cursor position and not at the top of the textarea.
